Aston Hearing made the most of the sunshine and the start of the festival season last weekend at Penn Fest. The team were promoting our message of ‘happy hearing’ to festival goers, as well as selling noise protection and glasses for children (and enjoying the music in their time off!)
Our children’s ear defenders proved to be very popular. Protecting hearing is so important, especially at a crucial stage in our development. Children’s noise protection blocks out the loudest sounds making them more comfortable at music festivals. If you didn’t manage to see us at Penn Fest but are interested in a pair please get in touch.
For adults, we offer customised ear plugs, designed to be comfortable, discreet and preserve the quality of the music. The filter reduces all frequencies at the same level, meaning that the sound remains exactly the same, only at a safe volume. For more information, please visit the ear protection section of our website: www.astonhearing.co.uk/our-services/protecting-your-hearing
All sales of our disposable ear plugs at the festival went to the Alexander Jansons foundation. The charity raises money in memory of local boy Alex and goes towards research into the causes, prevention and cures of myocarditis. We are delighted to have raised nearly £250 over the two days for the charity. If you would like to know more or further support the charity please visit www.alexanderjansonsfoundation.org.
Our focus for the summer is on noise and how it affects our hearing. Appearing at festivals is important, as many people are unaware of the risks of noise exposure to their hearing and are unsure as to how best to protect themselves. We want everybody to be able to do what they love and enjoy music without the risk of damaging their hearing permanently. If you would like to know more, please email email@example.com, call 01494 733840 or come and see us in our hearing van at other local events this summer
