Last Sunday evening, from the comfort of my sofa whilst adding the finishing touches to this June update, I watched Elton John performing his last ever live performance in the UK, at Glastonbury. Duncan hitting his 50th birthday last year had decided he should ‘do Glastonbury’ but instead of scrabbling for a ticket he joined our daughter, Luci and the Cracking Nuts team to run the Cracking Nuts stall at this momentous event! The crowds at Glastonbury are mind-blowing – all ages – joining together to celebrate and sing with 76-year-old Elton – it really is quite extraordinarily wonderful and so very British!

Duncan has had an amazing week, working hard selling nuts, ice cream and lemonade whilst routinely measuring the sound levels with his sound level app and sharing the results with us back home. Elton’s performance hitting 85-105db 300m back from the stage – it certainly is the last thing on anyone else’s mind though and who can blame them!
