Coronavirus update

Due to concerns surrounding the Coronavirus pandemic and in the interests of public health, our regular monthly HearToday events are postponed until further notice. We hope to resume these when we can be confident it is safe to meet up in large social groups once more.

In the meantime we are moving to online services to keep people informed of all the latest developments in hearing health. Please check our website as this will be updated regularly. We apologise for any disappointment and hope everyone stays safe and well. Please do not hesitate to contact us via email if you have any specific concerns relating to your hearing and we will do our very best to help.

Our practices at Amersham and Thame remain open and we offer a remote service to for those people who are unable to attend appointments in person.

We take every precaution to safeguard the health of all our visitors and staff and operate strict new Covid-19 systems. Our audiologists wear full PPE and time between appointments is longer to allow for full deep cleaning between clients. You will be required to use hand sanitiser on entry to our practices and have your temperature taken on arrival. Please wear a face mask and where possible wait to be invited into the building to ensure we adhere to social distancing rules. Our clinical staff will be waiting for you at the appropriate time and will do their best to welcome you into reception. We ask that you do not attend if you are feeling unwell and that you call us to cancel your appointment. There is no cancellation fee applied and we will endeavour to offer you a new appointment.

HearToday at Home

Helping communities to understand their hearing

Whilst we are unable to meet in person to share our experiences and niggles over a cup of tea, our team at Aston Hearing are still actively trying to find ways to keep you engaged.

The whole concept of HearToday was born out of the need to connect with others who understand how it feels to live with hearing problems. We prided ourselves in providing a safe and relaxing venue where people would feel comfortable to ask those awkward questions about hearing and have our expert audiologists on hand to offer support.

To keep the spirit of HearToday very much alive we encourage you to keep in touch, to write to us or even call to ask questions. You can sign up to receive our monthly newsletter which has topical information, updates, seasonal recipes and fun tips to keep you going. We understand how isolating it can be to live with a hearing loss and Covid restrictions on socialising do not help, but you are not alone and connecting with others can help.
